Key Responsibilities:

  • Pump Service & Maintenance: Perform scheduled maintenance, inspections, and repairs on commercial pumps and associated systems.
  • Fault Diagnosis: Identify and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical faults in pump systems.
  • System Installation & Commissioning: Support the installation and commissioning of new pump systems, ensuring compliance with manufacturer guidelines and client specifications.
  • Customer Interaction: Act as a point of contact for clients, providing technical advice, recommendations, and high-quality customer service.
  • Documentation: Complete service reports, risk assessments, and other relevant documentation accurately and on time.
  • Compliance: Ensure all work complies with health and safety standards, company policies, and relevant regulations.

Requirements:

  • Technical Expertise: Proven experience in servicing and repairing pumps, with strong knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems.
  • Qualifications: NVQ Level 3 in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering (or equivalent). Relevant certifications (e.g., 17th/18th Edition Wiring Regulations) are advantageous.
  • Experience: Previous experience working in commercial environments such as offices, hospitals, schools, or industrial facilities.
  • Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to diagnose faults and propose effective solutions efficiently.
  • Driving License: Full, clean UK driving license (essential).
  • Soft Skills: Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a customer-focused attitude.
