About the Role
We are seeking a highly motivated Business Development Manager to join our team at ZF Group. As a Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for engaging with key customers and buying groups, identifying and developing new business channels, and negotiating commercial agreements to grow business.

Key Responsibilities

  • Engage with key customers and buying groups
  • Company & Product training with key customers
  • Identify and develop new business channels
  • Negotiate commercial agreements to grow business
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, current market activities, and competitors
  • Use a CRM (Salesforce)
  • Collaborate with other territory managers and internal teams to ensure excellent customer experiences
  • Customer trade events

Requirements

  • Proven field sales development or business development experience, preferably within the passenger car aftermarket
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving growth
  • Good understanding of the UK/IRL aftermarket
  • Mechanical knowledge
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships as well as good presentation skills
  • Very good and demonstrated ability to work cross-functionally with teams such as sales, marketing, customer services and pricing teams.
  • Fluent in English and additional languages are a strong plus
