About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Field Service Engineer to join our team at Tunstall Healthcare. As a Field Service Engineer, you will be responsible for providing exceptional repair and maintenance services to our customers in the West Sussex/Worthing area.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on a variety of products, including Intruder Alarms, CCTV, Door Entry, Access Control, Environmental Monitoring/Control, Fire Detection, and Nurse Call systems.
  • Utilize your electrical and electronic expertise to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues.
  • Provide excellent customer service and communication skills to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Work independently and as part of a team to achieve goals and objectives.
  • Participate in on-call/weekend work on a rota basis to ensure 24/7 coverage.
Requirements
  • Electronic qualification at NVQ Level 2 or equivalent.
  • Pass at ONC level, equivalent NVQ Level 3 or demonstrable alternative in a technical discipline (specifically Electronic Engineering).
  • Good understanding of basic Electrical and Electronic systems/principles.
  • Strong communicator with excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Good problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Able to demonstrate effective team working, including mentoring/coaching and training others.
  • Effective time management and planning skills.
  • A flexible approach to work.
  • Comfortable working at heights and/or in confined dusty spaces.
  • Experience of working with the elderly or vulnerable.
  • Experience, knowledge, and understanding of networks and IP-based systems is desirable.
