Civils Construction CRE Job Description

Our client, a leading construction and civil engineering firm, is seeking an experienced Civils Construction CRE to join their team in Northumberland. The successful candidate will be responsible for undertaking civil engineering activities, including requirements capture, design, compliance management, and project delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Undertake civil engineering activities, including requirements capture, design, compliance management, and project delivery.
  2. Support the project team with technical guidance, leadership, and site safety.
  3. Coordinate civil engineering activities between subcontractors, programme engineers, and project managers.
  4. Develop and adapt project technical instructions for civil engineering.
  5. Assist with the development of engineering design details based on project technical requirements.
  6. Ensure risk assessment and mitigation plans are adhered to.
  7. Ensure integration of design, installation, and commissioning activities.
  8. Carry out technical audits to ensure project compliance with applicable standards and practices.

Candidate Requirements:

  1. Proven experience working as a Civils Construction CRE on large infrastructure projects.
  2. 5+ years experience working in the Rail sector on Civils projects.

Required Qualifications:

  1. Bachelors Degree Hons or equivalent.
