Job Title: Senior Health Intelligence Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Health Intelligence Manager to lead our health intelligence function and drive the development of our health intelligence team.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will have a strong background in research methodologies and practice, with experience in complex statistical analysis and data management. They will be able to critically appraise relevant research, policies, and evaluations to identify implications for health service planning and wider planning.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the health intelligence team to support and promote the use of evidence in health service planning
  • Develop and implement health intelligence projects to address inequalities and determine priorities for action
  • Represent the organisation in various forums, including local and national stakeholders
  • Manage and appraise staff to ensure the effective delivery of health intelligence services
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A postgraduate qualification related to research or information
  • At least 3 years of experience in a senior information management or research role in a major complex organisation
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively at all levels
