Role Overview

As a Maintenance Technician at Swisslog, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our automated materials handling equipment. You will work closely with our Resident Site Engineers to perform routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on a variety of machinery, including cranes and other automated systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine maintenance and servicing on automated equipment, adhering to quality standards and procedures.
  • Conduct electrical and mechanical breakdown maintenance, as well as planned preventative maintenance, to ensure optimal equipment performance.
  • Collaborate with Resident Site Engineers to identify and resolve equipment issues, implementing corrective actions as needed.
  • Ensure quality of output and adherence to company quality processes and procedures.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will possess a good level of competence in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering, with a minimum Level 2 Qualification. You must also have GCSEs Grade C or above in Maths, English, and Science. As an Apprentice-trained Mechanical/Electrical or Controls Engineer, you will be able to perform electrical/mechanical servicing on a variety of machinery.
