We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to join our team as a Night Auditor at Moxy Edinburgh Fountainbridge. As a Night Auditor, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our hotel's financial and operational processes.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Conducting nightly audits and balancing the day's accounts to ensure accuracy and compliance with financial regulations.
  • Preparing the hotel for the next day by performing tasks such as restocking supplies, cleaning, and tidying up.
  • Providing exceptional customer service to guests, responding to their needs and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
  • Managing hotel room inventory, checking guests in and out, and ensuring that all necessary documentation is completed accurately.
  • Operating Food & Beverage outlets, including preparing food, cleaning, and restocking supplies.
  • Managing all bills and payments, ensuring that all transactions are processed accurately and efficiently.
  • Supporting other crew members and following direction from crew leaders to ensure seamless operation of the hotel.
  • Promoting and supporting the Moxy brand and the Marriott Bonvoy loyalty program.

Requirements:

  • High energy and a fearless do-it-yourself attitude.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to interact with guests and colleagues in a professional and friendly manner.
  • Ability to multitask and balance hard work with great service.
  • Knowledge of hotel systems, such as Opera and/or Micros, and experience with financial software.
  • Knowledge of food safety and licensing laws, as well as personal experience of travel and the travel industry.
