Assistant Management Accountant

Greenwell Gleeson Ltd is seeking a highly skilled Assistant Management Accountant to join their corporate finance team. As a key member of the team, you will play a crucial role in providing financial management and reporting support to the corporate function.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Financial Reporting: Assist in the provision of timely and accurate period-end reporting, including SAP BPC reporting, variance analysis, and commentary.
  • Departmental Reporting: Provide timely and accurate departmental reporting with relevant commentary to support variances against budget and outturn.
  • Business Forecasting and Planning: Assist with the business forecasting and planning process, including development of action plans, monitoring of progress, and identification of corrective action.
  • Balance Sheet Reconciliations: Prepare balance sheet reconciliations on a periodic basis to ensure all assets and liabilities are accurately recorded.
  • Internal Control: Maintain procedures and systems of internal control to ensure safe stewardship and custody of assets and maintain the integrity of the associated financial records.
  • Team Collaboration: Work in partnership with the corporate function to educate and support, thus ensuring achievement of business objectives and financial targets.
  • Financial Risk Management: Proactively challenge the management of financial and business risks and opportunities where appropriate.
  • Ad-Hoc Reporting: Provide support to the Lead Finance Analyst and the Finance Manager in ad-hoc reporting and analysis in an accurate and timely manner to achieve business objectives.
