Senior Service Manager for Adults with Learning Disabilities

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Service Manager to lead our team in a 5-bed residential service for adults with learning disabilities in London. This is an excellent opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of our service users and contribute to the success of our organization.
Job Summary:
The Senior Service Manager will be responsible for providing leadership and guidance to our team, ensuring that our service users receive high-quality care and support. This role requires a unique blend of leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, as well as a deep understanding of the needs and challenges faced by adults with learning disabilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage a team of staff to deliver high-quality care and support services to adults with learning disabilities.
- Develop and implement effective care plans that meet the individual needs and goals of our service users.
- Provide guidance, support, and supervision to staff to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to deliver outstanding care.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of service user progress, including care plans, risk assessments, and incident reports.
- Collaborate with external agencies, such as healthcare professionals and social workers, to ensure seamless care coordination.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of policies and procedures that promote best practice in care and support.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in a leadership or management role within a care or support setting.
- Strong understanding of the needs and challenges faced by adults with learning disabilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with staff, service users, and external agencies.
- Ability to work flexibly, including evenings and weekends, to meet the needs of our service users.
- Degree-level qualification in a relevant field, such as social work, health care, or psychology.

Salary: £18,250 per annum (£13.50 per hour), paid bi-weekly.
Hours: 26 hours per week, with a regular schedule of two days (9am-5pm) and one day (8am-8pm).
