Job Title: 7.5t Delivery Driver

Staffing Match is proud to present an excellent opportunity for HGV and 7.5t Drivers in Huntingdon. Our client, a leading supplier of bedroom furniture across the UK, is seeking a reliable and skilled driver to join their team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Safely complete deliveries in a 2-man crew.
  • Observe UK Road Law and Regulations, as well as Working Time Regulations.
  • Perform daily vehicle checks before going on the road.
  • Provide excellent customer service.
  • Ensure merchandise is secure in the lorry.
  • Wear overshoes in customers' homes and gloves during delivery.
  • Deliver products to customers' rooms of choice.
  • Work effectively in a team with the porter.
  • Leave customer homes tidy, recycling packaging as needed.
Requirements:
  • Hold a UK licence with a C1 or above category.
  • Hold a valid CPC and Digital tacho card.
  • Previous experience driving 7.5t or above vehicles in the UK.
  • Able to complete heavy lifting deliveries.
  • Friendly attitude towards customers.
  • Excellent work ethic.
  • Desire to succeed.
