Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced Airframe Structure Designer to join our team, focusing on the development of cutting-edge eVTOL aircraft designs. This role requires strong design engineering skills, particularly in composite and metallic structure design.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop airframe structures for eVTOL aircraft, including composite and metallic components.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compatibility and continuity of design.
- Deliver high-quality design engineering services, adhering to industry standards and regulations.
- Participate in design reviews and meetings, providing expert insights and recommendations.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering.
- Minimum 6-10 years of experience in design engineering, preferably in the aerospace industry.
- Strong understanding of aerostructures, wing, empennage, and fuselage design.
- Excellent knowledge of computer-aided design (CAD) software, such as CATIA V5.
- Familiarity with GD&T, tolerance stack-up, and aerospace manufacturing processes.
- Ability to work effectively within an integrated project team and communicate clearly with stakeholders.
Compensation
The estimated salary for this position is $120,000 - $150,000 per annum, depending on qualifications and experience.
