About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Consultant Anaesthetist to join our team at University Hospitals Plymouth NHS Trust. As a senior member of our anaesthesia department, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care and contributing to the development of our services.

Job Summary

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing anaesthetic services to adult patients across various specialties, including general surgery, obstetrics, and trauma. They will also participate in on-call rotas, contribute to teaching and training, and engage in quality improvement activities.

• Deliver high-quality anaesthetic services to adult patients
• Participate in on-call rotas, covering general surgery, obstetrics, and trauma
• Contribute to teaching and training of junior doctors and medical students
• Engage in quality improvement activities to enhance patient care and service delivery
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless patient care
