About the Role
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Vehicle Technician to join our team at Lookers Lanarkshire Land Rover. As a key member of our Service team, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional customer service and ensuring the highest standards of vehicle maintenance and repair.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough vehicle health checks using the latest technology and diagnostic tools.
- Perform vehicle services and repairs in accordance with manufacturer guidelines and customer requests.
- Carry out additional repairs once authorized by the customer, ensuring all work is completed to the highest standards.
- Warranty repairs will be carried out in accordance with manufacturer guidelines, with relevant documentation completed.
- Take customers' vehicles on road tests to ensure all faults are rectified.
- Complete all relevant paperwork to a high standard, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
Requirements
- NVQ Level 3 in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair or equivalent qualification.
- Motor industry experience, either brand or non-brand, with a strong understanding of vehicle systems and diagnostics.
- A full and valid UK driving license.
