Wearable Technology Research Lead

About the Role
We are seeking a Senior Researcher to lead our efforts in wearable technology research. This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic team at the University of Oxford and contribute to the development of innovative solutions for remote health assessment.
As a Senior Researcher, you will be responsible for designing and implementing new methods for collecting and analyzing wearable data in large-scale epidemiological studies.
You will work closely with colleagues to develop new lines of enquiry and explore the potential of wearables and mobile devices for remote health assessment.
The estimated salary for this position is £65,000 - £85,000 per annum, depending on experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement new methods for wearable sensor data collection and analysis.
- Design and lead large-scale epidemiological studies to investigate the potential of wearables for remote health assessment.
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop new lines of enquiry and advance the field of wearable technology research.
Requirements
- PhD/DPhil in a relevant field (e.g., computer science, engineering, public health).
- Significant post-qualification research experience in wearable technology or a related field.
- Strong publication record and familiarity with existing literature in wearable technology research.
- Excellent leadership and collaboration skills.
