About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Security Operations Lead to join our team as part of our Cyber Risk Management function. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading and developing a high-performing Information Security Operations team, ensuring collaboration and cooperation between IS activities to ensure that assets are secure during operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Overall responsibility for Information Security Operations (Monitoring, vulnerability management and Incident response) within MIB as part of the CISO organisation.
  • Responsible for all areas of Security Operations including Alerting & Monitoring, Management of a suite of security tools such as vulnerability management, Information Protections, Email & internet security & Threat intelligence.
  • Leading & developing a high performing Information Security Operations team.
  • Developing and optimising the security control suite to minimise risk and maximise value.
Requirements
  • Extensive technical knowledge and background in information Security operations.
  • Experience and understanding of sound networking principles.
  • Experience of designing, implementing, managing and operating off-the-shelf and bespoke security tooling such as anti-virus, data loss prevention, web application firewalls, firewalls, VPN, etc.
  • Experience of specifying policies and operating security tools.
  • Advanced security qualifications such as CISSP, GIAC, as well as vendor specific training and or qualifications for end point and networking security solutions.
