SEMH Teaching Assistant Role

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Teaching Assistant to join our team at a Specialist SEMH School. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of supporting pupils with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs, and will be able to provide high-quality support to our students.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing individual and group support to pupils with SEMH needs, as well as supporting teachers with lesson planning and delivery. They will also be responsible for maintaining accurate records of pupil progress and contributing to the development of individual education plans.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have experience of working with pupils with SEMH needs, as well as a strong understanding of the principles of SEMH and how to support pupils with these needs. You will also need to be able to work effectively as part of a team, and to communicate effectively with pupils, parents and colleagues.
