">Job Summary
">We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Systems Technician to join our team at Continental. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient operation of our industrial mechanical systems.
">Salary and Benefits
">The estimated salary for this position is £38,000 - £50,000 per annum, depending on experience. In addition to a competitive salary, we offer a range of benefits including a pension scheme, on-site gym, bonus scheme, and 26 days holiday plus bank holidays (pro rata for part-time and shift workers).

">As a Mechanical Systems Technician, you will be responsible for:
">1. Carrying out routine maintenance and repairs to industrial mechanical systems.
">2. Identifying and reporting defects or issues with mechanical systems.
">3. Conducting safety inspections and risk assessments to identify potential hazards.
">4. Collaborating with other departments to ensure seamless communication and coordination of maintenance activities.
">5. Maintaining accurate records of maintenance activities and completing reports as required.
">Required Skills and Qualifications
">To be successful in this role, you will need:
">1. A minimum of 2 years' experience in a maintenance/industrial environment.
">2. Knowledge of mechanical systems and components, including pumps, motors, gearboxes, and conveyor belts.
">3. Understanding of safety procedures and protocols to minimize risks and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
">4. Ability to analyze problems and develop effective solutions.
