Job Title: Occupational Therapist (Band 6)

Department: Clinical Operations

We are seeking a skilled Occupational Therapist to join our team at the Royal Hospital for Neuro-disability. As a member of our Clinical Operations department, you will work closely with a multidisciplinary team to provide specialist patient-centred assessment and treatment for complex neurological clinical cases.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and administer therapeutic occupational therapy programmes as part of a multidisciplinary team
  • Work across all service areas at RHN, on a rotational basis, covering various clinical areas
  • Participate in interdisciplinary working, including meetings, reviews, discharge planning, and reports
  • Ensure professionalism and excellent communication with staff, patients, and relatives

Requirements:

  • Degree in Occupational Therapy recognised by COT & HCPC
  • Member of BAOT/College of Occupational Therapists
  • Interest in the clinical management of severe neurodisability
  • Proficient understanding of evidence-based practice

Desirable:

  • Interest in postural management and splinting
