Taxation Specialist

Our client is a well-established accountancy practice based in the Woking area, providing tax services to clients.

• We are seeking a highly skilled Tax Trainee to assist with the preparation of tax returns and computations, utilizing technical skills and knowledge to ensure accuracy and compliance.
• The ideal candidate will have a comprehensive understanding of UK tax legislation, including key concepts, principles, and regulations.
• You will participate in team meetings and contribute to discussions on tax matters, sharing insights and expertise to drive informed decision-making.
• Ongoing training and development activities will be pursued to enhance tax knowledge and stay up-to-date with industry developments.
• Maintaining adherence to company policies and procedures at all times, upholding the highest standards of professionalism and integrity.

A successful Tax Trainee should possess:

• A university degree or equivalent in a related field, such as accounting, finance, or law.
• 6-12 months of tax experience, preferably within the professional services industry, which can be advantageous but not essential.
• A keen interest in developing a career in tax within the professional services industry, driven by a passion for technical excellence and client satisfaction.
• A basic knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, to effectively manage administrative tasks and communicate with colleagues.
