At Wave Recruitment, we are seeking a highly skilled Senior Embedded Software Engineer to join our team. Located in Wellington, Somerset, this role offers the perfect blend of technical challenge and work-life balance.

The successful candidate will have at least 4 years' experience in embedded software development, with expertise in bare-metal Embedded C/C++ development for ARM Cortex-M. They will also be proficient in communication protocols (UART, SPI, I2C, USB, Ethernet) and have a strong understanding of architectural design and documentation.

In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and verifying embedded software for complex testing equipment. You will collaborate with our team on code reviews, contribute high-quality, maintainable code, and write and maintain unit tests to ensure software reliability and performance.

You will also troubleshoot and resolve system and performance issues, provide technical estimates on project scope, time, and cost, and assist in evaluating technical specifications and ensuring accuracy.
