About The Job

We are seeking an experienced Cook with a Food Hygiene Certificate Level 2 or above to support the Head Cook in the planning, preparation and service of meals at The Chadwick.

What We Offer

The successful candidate can expect an estimated salary of £28,000 - £30,000 per annum based on experience, working 36 hours per week. A competitive rate of pay will be discussed during the interview process.

Job Description

We require a skilled Cook to join our team at The Chadwick. The ideal candidate will have experience in food preparation and presentation, with excellent attention to detail and ability to work well under pressure.

Main Responsibilities

  1. To assist with compiling seasonal menus that cater to the diverse needs of our residents, families and staff, taking into account backgrounds, culture and dietary requirements.
  2. To maintain high standards in mealtime presentation and delivery, ensuring a positive dining experience for all residents.
  3. To ensure the cleanliness and hygienic appearance of the kitchen, meeting health & safety regulations and maintaining high standards in food handling practices.

Requirements

Candidates must hold a Food Hygiene Certificate Level 2 or above. Experience in a care setting is desirable but not essential. We encourage applicants from diverse backgrounds to apply.
