About the Role:

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Care Assistant to join our team at Hindson House, providing respite services for adults with learning disabilities, physical disabilities, and/or sensory impairments.

As a Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in delivering personalized physical and emotional care to our valued residents, promoting their independence and well-being.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide personalized support to residents, focusing on their strengths and promoting their independence.
  • Assist with daily activities such as eating, drinking, and personal hygiene.
  • Support residents in participating in meaningful activities, both within our facilities and out in the community.
  • Ensure a high standard of hygiene and safety, making sure everyone feels comfortable and secure.

Requirements:

  • No prior experience in care is necessary, as we provide all the training you need to succeed.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Basic IT skills for accurate information recording.
  • Strong ability to monitor and respond to health changes.
  • Demonstrate patience, empathy, and compassion in all interactions.
