Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Early Years Practitioner to join our team at a well-established nursery setting in Lupset, Wakefield. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality education and care to young children.

Main Responsibilities:

  1. Develop strong relationships with children, ensuring their individual needs are met.
  2. Conduct regular observations of children's progress, using findings to plan engaging activities tailored to their development needs.
  3. Implement learning plans that encourage children to explore and develop their skills, adhering to the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.
  4. Safeguard children's health, safety, and well-being by adhering to safeguarding policies.
  5. Collaborate with colleagues, sharing best practices and contributing to team meetings.

Requirements:

  • A Level 2 or Level 3 Qualification in Early Years Education (or equivalent).
  • Strong observation and planning skills to track children's progress.
  • A genuine passion for working with children and supporting their development.
  • Excellent communication skills to work effectively with children, parents, and colleagues.
