Senior PHY Development Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Senior PHY Development Engineer with strong expertise in physical layer software engineering, particularly within 4G LTE and 5G NR technologies. This role offers a unique opportunity to work on cutting-edge wireless communication systems, driving the development of next-generation physical layer features from algorithm design to DSP-level implementation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and optimize physical layer algorithms for 5G NR and 4G LTE wireless systems.
  • Implement physical layer features on DSP and hardware platforms.
  • Prepare detailed specifications for the implementation and verification of physical layer functionalities.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to deliver high-quality software solutions.
  • Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize DSP algorithms and code for high-performance, real-time systems.
  • Ensure adherence to quality standards in all development processes.

Requirements:

  • Strong proficiency in C/C++ programming with expertise in DSP-level development.
  • In-depth knowledge of 4G LTE and 5G NR PHY layer signal processing and algorithm development.
  • Strong understanding of 3GPP standards
  • Familiarity with DSP architectures
  • Proven experience in multi-threaded programming for real-time systems.
  • Excellent debugging skills and the ability to work under pressure to meet project deadlines.
