About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Clinical Assessment Specialist to join our team in a hybrid role, combining face-to-face and remote assessments. This is an exciting opportunity for a registered nurse to utilise their clinical expertise and work with complex cases involving physical and mental health conditions.

Job Description

In this role, you will conduct thorough assessments to understand how a person's disability or health condition affects their daily life. You will produce detailed reports to support the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP) in determining eligibility for benefits.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct assessments via telephone, video, or face-to-face meetings to gather information about customers' disabilities or health conditions.
  • Produce comprehensive reports outlining the impact of a customer's disability or health condition on their daily life.
  • Develop your clinical knowledge and assessment skills through regular feedback and supervision.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must possess:

  • A valid NMC registration number.
  • No less than one year of post-registration experience in adult or mental health nursing within or outside the NHS.
  • The right to work in the UK - we cannot offer sponsorships.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Comfortable using computer software to type and produce detailed reports.
