About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Asset & Investment Strategist to join our team at AJ Bell Management Limited. As a key member of our investment team, you will be responsible for maintaining our discretionary managed portfolios and supporting the growth of our business.

Key Responsibilities
  • Portfolio Maintenance
    • Support the maintenance of AJ Bell discretionary managed portfolios across various areas, including product governance, strategic and tactical asset allocation, and portfolio implementation.
    • Work with our research function to devise appropriate portfolio implementation strategies and develop investment management metrics.
    • Provide reports and attend departmental committees to ensure portfolio updates are communicated to investors.
  • Business Growth
    • Engage with other areas of the business to support the growth of AJ Bell Investments and the wider business.
    • Communicate portfolio updates to investors and stakeholders.
  • Team Development
    • Train, mentor, and develop future departmental employees.
  • Regulatory Compliance
    • Support the business in achieving its regulatory requirements, including consumer duty.
Requirements
  • Qualifications
    • Relevant Level IV QCF Qualification (or working towards in the short term).
    • Working towards further qualifications in the longer term.
  • Skills
    • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
    • Highly innovative.
    • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
    • Advanced report writing skills.
    • Advanced Microsoft Office skills.
