Support Mentor for Young Adults with Autism and Learning Disabilities

We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Support Mentor to join our team at Beam ABA Services. As a Support Mentor, you will play a vital role in supporting young adults with autism and learning disabilities in their daily lives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Implement person-centred programmes utilising Applied Behaviour Analysis and Positive Behaviour Support best practice.
- Teach functional skills, develop communication systems, and enhance social skills under a framework that provides choice and promotes empowerment.
- Monitor and take accurate data daily as per service users' targets.
- Support individuals during times of crisis, such as challenging behaviour.
- Assist service users with self-help skills, including personal care and hygiene needs.
- Attend mandatory training, team meetings, and self-directed e-learning modules.
- Promote safeguarding and wellbeing for service users to the highest standard.
Requirements:
- 1 year of applied experience working with individuals with a diagnosis of learning disability and/or autism.
- Experience of supporting individuals who are non-verbal, with experience of promoting alternative modes of communication.
- Clean driver's license.

- Competitive hourly rate of £12.25-£14 depending on qualifications and experience.
- Full-time positions available, with immediate salary from £22,295-£25,480 based on a 35-hour working week.
