Job Title: Floor Manager
About the Role

The Floor Manager is a key member of our team, responsible for maintaining the Food and Beverage (F&B) operation at Redchurch Townhouse. As a Floor Manager, you will partner with the General Manager and management team to develop and implement systems that drive efficient and effective service standards.


Main Responsibilities

  • Leadership and Team Management: Lead a floor team to deliver exceptional service to members, guests, and staff while maintaining Soho House & Co.'s high standards.
  • Training and Development: Implement and lead staff training to enhance product awareness, ensuring staff are knowledgeable about Soho House & Co.'s food program and drink initiatives.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Partner with various departments to ensure seamless member and guest experiences, briefing staff on expectations to deliver top-notch service.
  • Recruitment and Onboarding: Participate in the recruiting process, identifying talent gaps, and provide interview evaluations. Support new hire onboarding and training to ensure the F&B team is polished and approachable.
  • Member Feedback and Initiatives: Collaborate with membership to gather feedback, develop initiatives to address concerns, and highlight member benefits.
  • Employee Development: Ensure hourly employees are trained on company core values, job roles, responsibilities, and technical and service aspects of the job.
  • Operational Efficiency: Prepare and monitor rotas, reducing unnecessary overtime, and maintain the highest level of appearance at all times.
  • Compliance and Governance: Ensure employee compliance with company standards, policies, and external regulations.

Requirements

  • Up to 1-2 years' experience in a busy hospitality venue within a management capacity
  • Innovator and influencer with previous experience managing F&B operations
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to build relationships (internal and external)
  • Strong attention to details
  • Excellent customer service
  • Fluent in English
  • Organised and reliable
  • Ability to work and maximize relationships within a diverse team
  • Computer literacy within Opera, Micros, and Adaco advantageous
  • Full understanding of local authority requirements
  • Personal license holder
  • SIA knowledge, understanding, and experience

Working Hours

Redchurch Townhouse operates the following hours:


Monday to Thursday: 8am to 11:30pm


Friday to Saturday: 8am to 12:30am


Sunday: 8am to 11pm
