Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and deliver engaging history lessons that align with the curriculum

  • Assess and track student progress, providing constructive feedback and support
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop cross-curricular projects and activities
  • Attend staff meetings and participate in professional development opportunities
  • Establish and maintain effective communication with parents and guardians

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in History or relevant field
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent certification
  • Proven experience teaching History at the primary or secondary level
  • Deep knowledge of historical events, figures, and themes
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong classroom management abilities
  • Ability to differentiate instruction to meet the needs of diverse learners
  • Valid DBS check and right to work in the UK
