About the Role

The Birmingham City Women's Football Club is looking for an experienced Physiotherapist to join our Academy team as a key member of the medical staff. This role involves providing comprehensive medical care and support for our U10-U14 players, ensuring their health and well-being throughout the season.

Responsibilities:
  • Injury Assessment and Treatment: Conduct thorough assessments, accurate diagnoses, and develop effective treatment plans for injured players.
  • Return-to-Play Protocols: Collaborate with coaches, trainers, and other medical staff to ensure safe return-to-play procedures.
  • Player Education: Educate players, parents, and staff on injury prevention, concussion protocols, and return-to-play procedures.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with the coaching team and MDT to ensure seamless communication and coordination of care.
Skills and Qualifications

To excel in this role, you will need:

  • A degree in Sports Therapy or a related field.
  • Fully qualified FA Emergency First Aid in Football (EFAiF) certification.
  • DBS clearance and valid membership with a relevant governing body.
  • Proven experience working with young athletes and treating sports injuries.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
What We Offer

We offer a competitive salary range of £30,000 - 40,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus benefits including flexible working hours, pro-rata holiday entitlement, and access to ongoing professional development opportunities.
