Job Title: Secondary School Admissions Assistant

Job Type: Full-time, Long-term Assignment

Location: Perry Barr, Birmingham

Salary: £14 per hour

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Admissions Assistant to join our team at a busy Secondary School in Perry Barr, Birmingham. As an Admissions Assistant, you will be responsible for managing the admissions process, ensuring that all applications are processed efficiently and effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the admissions process, including processing applications and making admissions decisions
  • Communicate with parents and guardians regarding admissions outcomes
  • Update in-house databases with application status
  • Deal with admission enquiries and send out applications

Requirements:

  • High level of communication skills
  • Ability to work quickly and efficiently under own initiative
  • Recent satisfactory references for carrying out a similar placement within the last 2 years
