Job Title: Vehicles Maintenance Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Vehicles Maintenance Specialist to support the efficient and effective running of our Worsley Depot and Fleet. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for undertaking Planned & Defect Maintenance activities for both Mechanical and Cryogenic Systems.

The successful candidate will have a solid work history within a similar role, working on hazardous vehicles and tankers would be advantageous. They must hold a valid Class 1 licence with CPC certification (for a minimum of 3-5 years) and experience with working on DAF tankers/trailers.

The salary for this position is estimated to be around £45,000 - £50,000 per year, depending on experience. In addition to a competitive salary, you will also receive excellent benefits, including Annual Pay Increase and a great Pension Scheme.

Key Responsibilities:
• Undertake Planned & Defect Maintenance activities for both Mechanical and Cryogenic Systems.
• Liaise as and when required with external maintenance contractors and other bodies e.g. DAF.
• Minimise vehicle downtime and react to peak demands for vehicle availability.
• Consistently ensure all safety procedures are followed, playing a key role in safety agendas.
• Coupling and uncoupling of motive units/towing vehicles from tankers/trailers.
