Job Title: Environmental Health and Safety Advisor

We are seeking a proactive and self-motivated Environmental Health and Safety Advisor to join our Head Office team on a full-time, permanent basis.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Preparing, reviewing, and updating internal and external EHS policies and documentation in consultation with relevant personnel.
  • Coordinating the health surveillance programme, analysing reports, and producing and owning content for a regular EHS Bulletin.
  • Overseeing vehicle and driver fleet management, ensuring full compliance, and managing internal and external training, liaising with Line Managers.
  • Overseeing DSE, PPE, and first aid management, consulting on specific concerns, carrying out assessments, and serving as Chief Fire Marshal.
  • Undertaking regular premises inspections, supporting department leads with remedial actions, and ensuring the Company meets its statutory requirements as regards environment, health, safety, and welfare.
  • Maintaining the central accident book, recording and reporting all incidents, monitoring, investigating, and ensuring that appropriate remedial action is taken in all cases.
Requirements:
  • NEBOSH General Certificate essential / NEBOSH National Diploma preferred (or equivalents).
  • Experience in a manufacturing, semiconductor, engineering, or warehousing environment preferred.
  • Flexible, conscientious attitude to work, high standard of written and verbal communication, and confident and professional phone manner.
  • IT literate, with a strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
