About the Role

As a Senior Biotechnology Business Developer at Templarfox Consultancy Ltd, you will have a hunter mentality responsible for generating sales and key business relationships across the biotechnology sector. This exciting permanent role involves developing strong, long-term relationships with clients and successfully operating across early development for products or drugs or diagnostics within antibody research.

The role can be home-based but will require visits to the office for training, sales meetings, and project updates. You will work closely with the commercial team to provide market knowledge, influence, and work with the company's CRM (salesforce) to ensure client information is current.

You will also work closely with colleagues in quality, development, and manufacturing functions to support new client programs delivered on time and budget. Following the company sales process, you will create proposals, meet customers, and engage in promoting and developing customer-driven solutions.

We are looking for someone educated to degree level, ideally in life sciences, with at least three years of direct sales and business development experience within the life science sector. Direct experience of selling antibody services or biological molecule development services is essential.

A strong commercial background with prior experience of generating costing proposals, implementing KPIs, and sales plans and working to sales-related targets is required. The estimated salary for this role is £60,000 - £80,000 per annum.
