The Kingsley School, part of the Warwick Independent Schools Foundation, is seeking a temporary Teaching Assistant to work in its Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) from February 2025. This role offers an excellent opportunity for someone passionate about supporting young minds in their growth and development.

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced individual with a strong commitment to delivering high-quality support to our youngest pupils. The successful candidate will have an Early Years Practitioner qualification and be able to demonstrate a proven track record of working effectively in a team environment.

This full-time position involves working 21 hours per week, which equates to three days of approximately 7 hours each, term time only plus INSET days. The estimated annual salary for this role is £13,955, based on national averages.

About the Role

This teaching assistant position is crucial in ensuring that our students receive the highest quality care and education possible. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Providing targeted support to pupils within the EYFS to raise standards of achievement and promote inclusion
  • Assisting teachers in planning and implementing engaging lesson plans
  • Maintaining a safe, healthy, and stimulating learning environment
  • Working closely with parents and carers to provide consistent care and support

You will also contribute to the ongoing maintenance of our facilities, adhering to health and safety regulations at all times.

Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must hold an Early Years Practitioner qualification and be committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children. You will undergo a satisfactory DBS check as part of the hiring process.
