Bridge Engineer Role

Carrington West is seeking a skilled Bridge Engineer to join our team in South Wales. As a Bridge Engineer, you will be responsible for the inspection and maintenance of bridges and structures across the region.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and implement schemes for bridge inspection and maintenance, including feasibility studies, design, and site supervision.
  2. Provide written responses to enquiries and complaints regarding bridge safety and condition.
  3. Negotiate with developers, consultants, contractors, and stakeholders to improve highway structures.

Requirements:

  1. Degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
  2. Experience with AutoCAD and other design software.
  3. Minimum of 3 years experience in bridge inspection and maintenance.
  4. Valid driving license and own vehicle.
