About the Role:

CrowdStrike is seeking a highly motivated and self-driven Cybersecurity Specialist to join our team. As a Cybersecurity Specialist, you will be responsible for conducting monitoring and in-depth analysis of security alerts, exercising incident handling processes across Windows, Mac, and Linux platforms, and performing malware analysis. You will also be responsible for remote remediation of malware or malicious activity, developing and improving processes for incident detection, triage, and the execution of countermeasures, and producing high-quality written and verbal communications, recommendations, and findings to customer management.

Responsibilities:

Conduct monitoring and perform in-depth analysis of security alerts

Exercise incident handling processes across Windows, Mac, and Linux platforms

Perform malware analysis

Perform remote remediation of malware or malicious activity

Develop and improve processes for incident detection, triage, and the execution of countermeasures

Produce high-quality written and verbal communications, recommendations, and findings to customer management

Requirements:

Experience in one or more of the following areas: Incident Handling, Computer Forensic Analysis, Systems Administration, Network Forensic Analysis, Malware Analysis, Incident Remediation, Network Operations and Architecture/Engineering, and Programming/Scripting

Strong understanding of system internals and network protocols

Ability to perform static and dynamic malware analysis

Strong problem-solving skills and ability to handle high-pressure situations

Strong experience with Mac OS, Windows, and Unix operating systems
