Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Associate Business Development Director to join our team in the EMEA and LATAM regions. As a key member of our business development team, you will be responsible for representing Baxter and our products, building relationships with healthcare professionals, and identifying new business opportunities.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop a network of potential partners and generate leads for licensing or acquisition opportunities.
- Work with cross-functional teams to identify product targets, partner leads, and develop business cases.
- Perform due diligence assessments, valuations, and develop deal documents.
- Ensure compliance with internal processes and procedures, as well as all legal requirements.
- Deliver performance measures for the region and key countries.
- Share competitive intelligence within the team and maintain confidentiality.
- Manage multiple, complex projects with broad scope, prioritizing tasks and communicating with cross-functional collaborators and management.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree with MBA preferred.
- 15 years of experience, with 5+ years in business development/licensing for generic pharmaceuticals.
- Solid understanding of pharmaceutical development, including regulatory and IP processes.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects.
- Ability to use Microsoft O365 and other collaborative tools.
- Willingness to travel domestically and internationally up to 30%.
