About the Role
We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Kitchen Steward/Porter to join our Food and Beverage team at Center Parcs. As a key member of our kitchen team, you will be responsible for maintaining a high standard of hygiene and safety in the kitchen, assisting with the disposal of kitchen waste, and deep cleaning of the kitchen and wash-up areas.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist the Kitchen Team with disposing of kitchen waste and deep cleaning of the kitchen and wash-up areas.
- Maintain a high standard of hygiene and safety in the kitchen.
- Carry out cleaning duties as specified by the Kitchen Manager, including sweeping and mopping floors and operating pot-washing machinery.
Requirements
- Ability to work under pressure.
- Ability to work on your own or as part of a team.
- Good communication skills.
- Adherence to company COSHH regulations and ISO standards at all times.
Working Hours
As a flexible member of our team, you will be contracted to work 120 hours per 4-week period. Your days and hours of work may vary each week, but you will always receive at least your contracted hours each period. You will also be required to work public/bank holidays and during Christmas and/or New Year on a rota basis with a premium rate of pay for hours worked on a Sunday.
