Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Registered Nurse (Band 5) to join our established multi-disciplinary team at East Brig, a 10-bedded rehabilitation unit for individuals with severe and enduring mental illness.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver comprehensive, individualized treatment and recovery plans to support patients in returning home.
- Work closely with the multidisciplinary team and third sector agencies to advocate for patients and promote a collaborative and recovery-oriented focus.
- Provide exceptional standards of care, demonstrating flexibility, resourcefulness, and excellent verbal and written communication skills.
About the Role:
This is a fixed-term post for 12 months, offering an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of our patients. As a member of our team, you will be part of a dynamic and supportive environment that values equality, diversity, and inclusion.
NHS Scotland's Commitment:
NHS Scotland is committed to reducing its full-time working week from 37 hours. This reduction will also be applied pro rata for part-time staff. You may be required to work up to an additional 30 minutes per week for a temporary period, for which you will be paid.
