We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Care Assistant to join our team at Active Care Group. As a Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to our residents, promoting their independence and well-being.

The successful candidate will have a genuine interest in providing person-centred care and will be able to communicate effectively with residents, families, and colleagues. Experience working within the care sector or mental health is desirable but not essential.

As a Care Assistant, you will be responsible for:

  • Building relationships with residents and supporting them to undertake their rehabilitation programme
  • Establishing methods of communication with residents, reducing barriers through innovative and adaptable practice
  • Assisting residents to meet their hydration and nutritional needs and maintain physical health
  • Supporting with activities of daily living and personal care when needed, respecting choice and dignity
  • Communicating effectively with colleagues, residents, families, and other professionals
  • Accurately reporting and recording care provided

  • Support residents to achieve their goals and aspirations
  • Work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to deliver person-centred care

  • Participate in training and development opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge
