Join Digital Waffle as a Data Analyst

We are excited to be working with one of the UK's leading online retailers of beauty and skin care products. As a Data Analyst, you will be responsible for analyzing a wealth of data views and working closely with cross-functional teams, including the eCommerce, Marketing, Brand, and Leadership Team.

Your role will include identifying opportunities for improvement and growth, and to improve business decision making and customer experience.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with various stakeholders to understand and evolve the data views required
  • Report on key business health metrics on a weekly, monthly, and quarterly basis
  • Analyze the effectiveness of marketing campaigns
  • Create data views and reports
  • Provide data to inform our content marketing and storytelling
  • Combine external data sources with our data, to understand trends vs. the market
  • Evolving our methodologies, identifying new reporting and analysis techniques
  • Data Visualization: Presenting all data in easy to digest graphical formats
  • Customer Segmentation: Interrogating our Customer Data Platform to understand trends in buying behavior
Requirements:
  • Data-oriented and analytically minded
  • Google Analytics including GA4
  • Previous working knowledge of a Customer Data Platform
  • Advanced working knowledge of Excel
  • Ability to work in a team
  • Data Visualization tools such as Looker Studio
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills to effectively communicate insights to stakeholders
Desirable:
  • Experience with programming languages such as SQL and Python
  • Experience using Google BigQuery, Power BI, and Tableau
  • Experience in the beauty or retail industry
  • Working knowledge of Shopify and Ometria
