As a key member of the senior administrative team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of the school's administrative functions. Your primary responsibility will be to provide high-level administrative support to the Headmaster, including managing their diary, preparing reports, and coordinating meetings and events.
The successful candidate will have excellent communication and organisational skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. You will also have experience of using ISAMS databases and other administrative software, as well as being proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Outlook, Word, and Excel.
A typing speed of 50+wpm and RSA Typewriting or equivalent secretarial/ICT related keyboard skills are essential requirements for this role. In addition, you will have good attention to detail, discretion, and tact, with the ability to maintain confidentiality at all times.
You will also have previous experience of working in a school environment, preferably in a similar role, and possess excellent verbal and written communication skills. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the importance of safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.
We estimate that the salary for this role will be around £40,000-£60,000 per annum, depending on experience, which includes an estimated annual bonus of up to £5,000 based on individual performance and company targets.
