Job Description

We are seeking a seasoned ERP Consultant/Business Analyst with strong business acumen in the Human Capital Management (HCM) domain. The ideal candidate boasts a minimum of 5 years of hands-on expertise, is proficient in English to facilitate seamless communication, is willing to travel, and has a proven track record of excelling in a consultant role. You will be living in the UK, Belgium or Netherlands*. The ability to speak Dutch and experience across European markets would be beneficial.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and define project requirements.
  • Conduct a thorough analysis of business processes, systems, and user needs to identify solutions and improvements.
  • Create and maintain detailed functional and non-functional requirement documents, user stories, and use cases.
  • Translate complex technical concepts into easily understandable language for non-technical stakeholders.
  • Perform gap analysis to identify discrepancies between business requirements and current systems.
  • Work closely with development teams to ensure accurate implementation of requirements and timely issue resolution.
  • Participate in design and architecture discussions, offering insights to ensure alignment with business goals.
  • Facilitate effective communication between technical and non-technical teams, fostering a collaborative environment.
  • Perform quality assurance testing to validate that the software meets specified requirements and functions as intended.
  • Assist in project planning, estimation, and risk management activities.
  • Provide ongoing support and clarification to development teams during the software development lifecycle.
  • Analyze user feedback and system performance data to recommend continuous improvements.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and best practices to ensure the software solutions align with current standards.
  • Act as a subject matter expert for business processes, systems, and software functionality.
  • Conduct training sessions and create user documentation to ensure smooth adoption of new software features.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business administration or comparable field of study.
  • Minimum 5 years' experience as an HCM Functional Business Analyst or HCM ERP Consultant.
  • Minimum 3 years in client-facing roles.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multitasking skills.
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
  • Experience with project management software tools.
  • 50% availability for travel, including across Europe.
  • Fluent in English.
  • Legally entitled to work in the United Kingdom and across the European Union.
What sets you apart
  • Experience in ERP implementation.
  • Experience with IFS HCM.
  • Experience working in HR/HRIM in one or more of the following industries: Manufacturing; Energy & Utilities; Service Sector; Construction & Engineering; Shipping & Harbour Services; Aviation & Defense.
  • Proficiency in Dutch.
