Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Electrical Systems Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our electrical systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the development and implementation of electrical systems across our UK and overseas operations
  • Provide expert input to electrical elements of our current and future portfolio
  • Conduct regular electrical maintenance checks and fault investigations
  • Participate in offsite trial activities and work closely with the team during solution or future design development
  • Installation and testing of prototypes and organisation of relevant production documentation
  • Daily support of facility operations activities and definition of safe processes for operational activities

Requirements:

  • HNC/HND Engineering qualification or equivalent experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Able to carry out risk assessments and use root cause analysis tools to problem solve
  • Working experience of manufacturing or similar environment, utilising systems, tools and structure to influence outcomes around safety, quality, cost, delivery and people
  • General engineering understanding across design, manufacturing and test processes, and demonstrate the importance of a "safety first" culture
  • Strong stakeholder management relation across the function and wider business
