Clinical Specialist

As a Functional Specialist with Donard Recruitment, you will be responsible for providing unbiased, comprehensive assessments for the Government's disability allowance (PIP) while ensuring a personalized, inclusive, safe, and empathetic service for the service user.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver face-to-face and virtual assessments, telephone assessments, initial review calls, and paper-based reports (PBR).
Manage caseloads from end to end, including delivering assessments and managing cases to conclusion.
Assess the full range of health conditions and disabilities affecting the claimant, including physical, sensory, mental, intellectual, and cognitive impairments.
Requirements:
Qualified Nurse, Mental Health Nurse, Occupational Therapist, Physiotherapist, or Paramedic.
1+ years post-qualification experience.
Valid registration on NMC or HCPC without restrictions.
Excellent communication skills and strong IT literacy.
What We Offer:
Basic salary of £38,500 - £41,500.
5% retention bonus, rising to 10% quality and retention bonus.
OTE: £45,650.
Hybrid full-time, part-time working hours available.
Training options: 12 weeks (full-time), 14 weeks (4 days per week), and 17 weeks (3 days per week).
25 days' holidays per annum, rising to 27 days with service.
