Job Title: AWS Healthcare Solutions Architect

At Amazon, we're seeking a highly skilled Healthcare Solutions Architect to join our team in APJ. As a key member of our Public Sector business, you'll play a pivotal role in driving the adoption of AWS cloud technologies within national health systems, electronic health records (EHRs), imaging partners, and other healthcare ISVs.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Solution Design and Architecture: Lead the design and implementation of innovative cloud-native solutions tailored to the healthcare sector, focusing on EHR systems, medical imaging, healthcare interoperability standards, clinical analytics, and medical AI/ML solutions.
  2. Technical Expertise: Apply deep knowledge of healthcare and life sciences domains to architect robust solutions that leverage AWS services, covering areas such as cloud FHIR and DICOM servers, EHRs, cloud medical databases, and cloud integration engines.
  3. Data and Compliance: Ensure solutions meet healthcare data schemas and interoperability standards, adhering to security and compliance requirements such as HIPAA, HITRUST, and GxP.
  4. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with healthcare subject matter experts, data scientists, software engineers, cloud operations teams, account managers, and partner development managers to drive successful project outcomes.
  5. Thought Leadership: Contribute to AWS's thought leadership by participating in conferences, publishing research, and presenting at industry events, demonstrating depth and breadth in healthcare and life sciences domains.
  6. Customer Engagement: Engage with public sector healthcare organizations to understand their needs and deliver customized AWS solutions that drive their digital transformation and enhance patient care.

As a Healthcare Solutions Architect, you'll have a deep understanding of one or more technology areas, such as software development, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, and data analytics. You'll also have professional experience architecting/operating solutions built on AWS and hold one or more AWS certifications, such as the AWS Solutions Architect Associate certification.
