Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Power Equipment Service Engineer to join our team at GAP Group LTD.

This role will be responsible for ensuring the efficient servicing and maintenance of our stage V generator fleet, including associated ancillaries.

The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in the success of the region by identifying and repairing faults or damage to equipment.

About the Job

As a Regional Generator Fleet Manager, you will be responsible for traveling across our regional depots and customer sites to provide top-notch service and support.

You will work closely with our high-performing regional team to ensure that our customers can hire what they want, when they need it.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and repair stage V generators, AMF/MDU and Distribution & Cable
  • Update service records accurately
  • Provide excellent customer service
  • Collaborate with the regional team to achieve goals
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you should have:

Proven Experience:

  • At least 2 years of experience in a generator engineer role
  • Relevant mechanical qualification or time served

Desirable Skills:

  • Sound knowledge of Stage V engines and generators
  • A customer-focused approach workload and committed team player
  • A valid driving licence is essential
Salary and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary of £45,000 - £55,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus benefits including:
