About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Healthcare Assistant to join our team at North West Anglia NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and support to our patients and their families.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver exceptional patient care under the supervision of registered practitioners, ensuring the highest standards of care and compassion.
  • Provide hands-on personal care, including washing, toileting, and assisting with eating and drinking, as needed.
  • Monitor patients' conditions and provide support with daily activities, promoting independence and dignity.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams, ensuring seamless care coordination.
  • Contribute to a safe and clean clinical environment, maintaining stock levels and assisting with administrative tasks.
  • Participate in patient assessments, measuring and recording vital signs, and contributing to clear and concise documentation.
Requirements
  • Maths and English skills equivalent to Level 1 Literacy and Numeracy.
  • Experience working within a team and caring for patients in an acute setting (desirable).
  • Ability to communicate clearly in English in writing, via IT, verbally, and using the telephone.
