Design Researcher

At Boundlessfellows, we're seeking a talented Design Researcher to join our team. As a key member of our design consultancy, you'll play a crucial role in helping us tackle complex design challenges.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design, scope, and execute research that informs our design solutions
  • Facilitate synthesis, generating insights and opportunities for design
  • Creatively articulate the insights and stories behind our design concepts
  • Build alignment with stakeholders who may have different perspectives, needs, and information processing styles
  • Translate research insights into actionable design direction
  • Participate in all design consultancy phases, from research to strategy and prototyping
Requirements:
  • 3-5 years of research experience, with a proven ability to lead research within a multidisciplinary team
  • Demonstrated ability to translate and apply insights to inform creative design solutions and/or strategic decision-making
  • Experience running research in different markets and languages
  • Ability to design, build, and analyze surveys, and tell stories about the data
  • Experience of testing value proposition/concept/prototype desirability and viability
  • Ability to analyze secondary data sets from diverse sources
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience in inclusive design, participatory methods, or working with marginalized groups and communities
  • Fluency in 2+ languages
  • Leveraging AI tools and emerging tech in the research process
